RAY NUR TAQWA ditubuhkan oleh Persatuan Pengurusan Rumah Anak Yatim Nur Taqwa Kota Belud (PPM-010-12 02062016) dan mula beroperasi pada Januari 2017. Dengan bermatlamat member PERLINDUNGAN dan PENDIDIKAN kepada anak Yatim dan anak Miskin di kawasan sekitar KOTA BELUD dan Sabah amnya. Di premis yang sama Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) NUR TAQWA telah beroperasi untuk anak-anak ASNAF sejak 2005 dengan tiada caj yuran bulanan dengan guru-gurunya dibayar elaun oleh KAFA, JAKIM.
