Kaizen Children Home, established on August 8, 2009, began its operations with a focus on continuous transformation, nurturing children to become better individuals who consistently grow in knowledge, faith, and maturity. The home, located in a single-storey bungalow spanning 9,000 square feet within Taman Tasik Semenyih, was made possible through a generous partial donation by two individuals, with the remaining cost covered by the LCM Social Concern Fund.

Initial expansion and renovation expenses were generously donated by a group of benefactors, rallied by the efforts of Ms. Wendy Yap. From its early stages, Kaizen Children Home found support and adoption within the congregation of Taman Midah Lutheran Church (TMLC).

In 2014, Kaizen Children Home temporarily ceased its operations, only to be reinstated when LCM assumed responsibility for this ministry, recommencing activities in 2017. Subsequently, new facilities were added, including a boys’ toilet and a wet kitchen. Currently, the Home provides residence for eight children aged 4 to 12, with a targeted capacity of accommodating 20 children.

On November 6, 2009, the Home was registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS). The renewal paperwork has been completed and submitted to the Social Welfare Department for approval to continue utilizing the premises as a welfare home.
