The Centre is a non-profit organisation aimed at providing education and training to children with down syndrome. Children from 2 months to 6 years are taught useful skills like speech and living skills, among others, to prepare them for school life.
The Centre provides early intervention programme to babies, toddlers and young children with the intention of making their assimilation into society that much easier. The centre is wholly funded by donations from the public, well-meaning friends and acquaintances, corporate bodies, charity organisations, etc. Contributions in cash or kind are always welcomed and anyone wishing to do so and find out more about the centre can do so by contacting the centre at 05-5468386
Mission
1) To provide useful education, training and skills in a conducive learning environment to young Down Syndrome children to prepare them for school life, learn to be independent and ultimately be assimilated into society.
2) To act as a resource centre on Down Syndrome to parents/care-givers and to provide a locale for parents/care-givers to connect and share experiences and learn from others.
3) To raise awareness about Down Syndrome through talks, distribution of leaflets, etc.
