Ananda Cares is a non-profit, voluntary-based, welfare organisation for women and children.
We have been supporting abandoned grannies, single mothers, needy women and their children in aspects of education, medical and domestic needs.
In order to do so, we provide skill training with living allowance for these women to help them sustain their livelihood independently and with dignity.
The skills training include:
- high-quality and hygienic baking
- sewing
- value-based handicrafts.
For the needy families that we work with, we also provide:
- medical aid
- empathy care (for abandoned grannies)
- vegetarian meals
- monthly provisions
- domestic aid
- small financial loans.
In addition, some of the women who come to work at Ananda Cares bring their children with them as they have no one else to care for them. Our friendly youth volunteers organise an EduKid programme where they provide creative and value-based educational activities for the children.
Transport and meals are provided to all recipients and volunteers.
With the help of so many that have the same passion and commitment to helping those in need, Ananda Cares continues to deliver health and hope to these women and children.
