The NLCS is the fulfillment of the vision that was planted in us to see a community centre being established to help cater to the needs of the community. Through this intense desire we began reaching out to the community, especially the poor and the underprivileged in ensuring that they would receive both material help and financial resources in the areas of education, health care, material aid in provisions and other household needs, as well as social and emotional assistance in securing a better living environment.

Together with a “dedicated team” of volunteers, we are ever increasing the momentum of the drive to ensure the successful implementation of all the programs and initiatives that will both
benefit the community and bring forth better living conditions.
We cannot do this without the assistance of like minded individuals and corporate participation and so I sincerely do invite more of you to help us help the community. To those who are there paving the way, our heartfelt gratitude and thanks for all your efforts in ensuring the NLCS will be a dream fulfilled.

The Community Center will look into the needs of the community in five areas. These five areas are vital to the daily living situations and help will be rendered to those in need.

The five areas are:

EDUCATIONAL: Where those unable to receive tuition, or are poor in their studies, unable to get books and other study materials, assistance will be provided for them. Motivational talks, study helps and other avenues will be presented to those in need.

MEDICAL: Those who need any medical assistance, will receive free medical attention through designated clinics, talks on health, healthy living and clean hygiene or any other related medical help will be given.

SOCIAL: This will include the Poor, Orphans, Widows, Single mothers and anyone needing assistance in securing help from the relevant agencies will be helped. Those needing shelter, food, clothing etc… will be provided for.

ENTREPRENEURIAL: Those seeking employment, need training for specific skills, wanting to open up small businesses, will be given help.

INTERPERSONAL: Bringing the community together community projects like ” gotong royongs, sporting activities, donation drives, these events will be organised that we can truly reflect the 1Malaysia spirit.
