Persatuan Untuk Insan Bermasalah Intelek, Perak (Bengkel Perlindungan Semangat Maju, Sitiawan) Sheltered Workshop Semangar Maju Sitiawan was started on 1st March 2008. We started off with 8 participants and to-date we have 19 participants. The main objective of this establishment is to ensure the adult trainees aove 22 years have a place to work after graduated from school.
From the beginning, the Sheltered Worshop located next to existing Sekolah Semangat Maju Sitiawan and thanks to the generous support from Mr.Ho Poi Hua, our council members to temporary rent us a double storey shop to be the centre for Sheltered Workshop Semangat Maju Sitiawan. On 14th February 2009, the sheltered workshop is relocated to a new building located at No 5, Jalan Lumut Indah, Taman Lumut Indah, 32200 Lumut, Perak.
Jumlah pelatih istimewa juga telah bertambah kepada 24 orang.
