Who they we

They are the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the mentally handicapped (SAMH). The association began with only four coaches and a teacher, it now has 12 special schools and training centres with 560 children.
Their primary aim is to provide education and training to mentally handicapped children and adults so that they will be helped, to the fullest extent possible in reaching their maximum potential .It is our hope to provide a comprehensive service to children and adults with mental handicap. It is our hope that efforts will improve their quality of life.

What we need
Yearly expenditure: RM2million
Expenses are for food and beverage,  teaching equipment , water, electricity , salaries of teachers and participants’ allowance while at the centres or attending workshops.
