Overview: Pusat Bantuan Sentul (PBS) was founded in 1985 by a group of socially conscious Christians, including Dato Dr. Tan Kee Kwong, Bishop Rt. Rev. Hwa Yung, Mr. Chris Fung, and Rev. Davadass. Their mission was to address the social needs of the Sentul-Ipoh Road area. PBS officially registered with the Registrar of Societies on 7th February 1987. It began as a volunteer-driven initiative, offering services such as tuition classes, blood donation drives, legal and medical aid, and personal counseling. Today, PBS has a dedicated office with full-time staff and volunteers.

Achievements: Over the past 22 years, PBS has positively impacted the Sentul-Jalan Chow Kit-Jalan Ipoh-Jinjang-Selayang area, thanks to the dedication and support of donors, staff, volunteers, and board members.

Vision: PBS aspires to expand its activities to better serve the community but faces resource limitations. The organization remains relevant and committed to filling social needs, just as it did when it first started.

Garis Panduan: Pusat Bantuan Sentul (PBS) ditubuhkan pada tahun 1985 oleh sekumpulan individu Kristian yang peduli akan isu sosial, termasuk Dato Dr. Tan Kee Kwong, Bishop Rt. Rev. Hwa Yung, Mr. Chris Fung, dan Rev. Davadass. Misi mereka adalah untuk menangani keperluan sosial di kawasan Sentul-Ipoh Road. PBS didaftarkan secara rasmi dengan Pendaftar Pertubuhan pada 7 Februari 1987. Ia bermula sebagai inisiatif sukarela yang menawarkan perkhidmatan seperti kelas tuisyen, kempen derma darah, bantuan undang-undang dan perubatan, serta kaunseling peribadi.   • Dapur sup mingguan untuk golongan miskin dan gelandangan
  • Melibatkan pemimpin tempatan, pihak berkuasa, dan ketua sekolah
  • Dialog berterusan dengan organisasi kesejahteraan

Prestasi: Selama 22 tahun terakhir, PBS telah memberi kesan positif kepada kawasan Sentul-Jalan Chow Kit-Jalan Ipoh-Jinjang-Selayang, berkat kesetiaan dan sokongan penderma, kakitangan, sukarelawan, dan ahli lembaga pengarah.
